DT-20 Temperature Probes

The new series of digital temperature probes DT-20 is designed to measure the temperature of bulk materials (grain and grain products, raw materials, processed products, compound feed, etc.) during storage in warehouses, grain storage facilities, sleeves, in bags, big bags.
Regular temperature measurement is necessary to prevent possible loss of quality (spoilage, clumping, freezing) due to natural self-heating of grain, as well as to control the temperature regime during drying, ventilation or natural ventilation.

DT-20 device

1. The grain thermo rod consists of a rod (anodized aluminum / stainless steel / carbon fiber) 2 or 3 meters long and an aluminum handle covered with a lid.
2. Under the handle cover there is an electronic unit with a bright three-digit red digital indicator and a battery compartment with power elements (x4 AA).
3. At the lower end of the rod in the conical tip there is a temperature sensor (measurement range - 9.9 ... + 50 ° C, accuracy ± 0.5 ° C).

How to work with the DT-20 thermal probe

1. Immerse the probe of the device to the required depth in the bulk material, the temperature of which needs to be measured, and keep it in the measured medium for at least three minutes;
2. Shortly press the «°С/°F» button on the front side of the device once;
3. After a short indication of the symbols « – – – ». the device measures for 3 seconds, after which it displays the measured temperature for 7 seconds, after which the digital indicator goes out;
4. The next temperature measurement is performed after another short press of the «°С/°F» button;
5. You can leave the thermal probe in the material for periodic temperature measurements in a specific place, or remove it and insert it in another place for uniform temperature measurement of the entire batch.
