The operating principle of all propane repellers is as follows:
A gas cylinder is connected to the repeller, the gas from which, after a certain period of time, enters the detonation chamber and is ignited using a piezoelectric element or electric ignition, depending on the type of propane repeller device. After the spark is supplied, an explosion occurs in the detonation chamber. The detonation chamber is designed in such a way that the gas in it does not ignite, but explodes. After detonation, the sound is directed into the barrel of the repeller, where it is amplified by the conical shape of the barrel, and as a result we hear a bang similar to a gunshot, the volume of which ranges from 119 to 124 decibels.

"Mechanical" and "Electronic".
The main difference between a mechanical repeller and an electronic one is that it does not require an additional power source and works exclusively from the compressed gas supplied to it.

But the advantage of electronic models is the ability to program shot intervals in the range from 2 to 30 minutes or random selection, programming of Day-Night-Day+Night operating modes, the ability to set a double shot mode.

An electronic model with a solar battery can operate without additional charging from the network, because the battery is charged by the sun.
