If you have not worked with Farmpoint before, take into account a few simple tips.
- ✓ Clean the container with a brush from grains and dust.
- ✓ Turn on the device with the ON/TEST button.
- ✓ Select calibration.
- ✓ Prepare the sample by visual inspection to ensure there are no pebbles, straw, insects, or other debris and pour it into the container.
- ✓ Fill the chamber completely.
- ✓ Do not hold the grain moisture meter by the edge, but closer to the middle. This will ensure balance, protect against the risk of falling, and will not tire your hand muscles.
- ✓ Screw on the lid. When screwing on, you will feel an effort. This is the grains being compressed. Turn until the metal circle in the center of the lid is level with the plastic surface.
- ✓ Start the ON/TEST measurement process.
- ✓ Read the data from the display: humidity in % and the average value of several measurements.
