Moisture meter-oil meter VMCL-12M is a measuring device for work in laboratory conditions and is intended for express analysis of moisture 5..12%, oil content 30..60% and natural 300..500 g/liter of sunflower seeds. The measurement time of the specified parameters is 5 seconds.
It is recommended to use the oil content analyzer at enterprises of the oil and fat industry for quality control of sunflower seeds, control of the operating modes of presses and extruders, for assessment of the technical condition of the working parts of processing technological equipment for the production of vegetable oil, preparation, drying and storage of seeds.
The moisture meter-oil meter VMCL-12M complies with the requirements of GOST 29027-91.
The oil content meter implements the non-destructive testing method, therefore preliminary grinding of sunflower seeds is not required. Before measuring the sunflower parameters, it is necessary to form a seed sample without preliminary drying. To do this, remove foreign matter by sifting the sunflower seeds through a sieve with holes of 3 mm in diameter. The seeds remaining in the sieve are poured into the measuring cup included in the delivery set of the device. The cup with the selected sample is placed in the device and the necessary parameters of sunflower seeds are measured.
The operating principle of the express oil content analysis is based on the simultaneous measurement by the resonance method of the complex resistance of the high-frequency circuit of the conductometric humidity sensor, into the field of the coil of which the measured product is introduced, and the active resistance of the degree of deformation of the weight sensor, proportional to the mass of the selected sample. The measured values, under the control of the process program, are sent to the microprocessor unit of the device, where the necessary calculations are performed, allowing to determine the moisture, oil content and naturalness based on the calibration characteristics.
The measurement results are displayed on the alphanumeric indicator.
The moisture meter-oil meter is controlled by 3 buttons:
- "Program" is designed to select the controlled parameter of the selected sample;
- "Measurement" is designed to measure the selected parameter;
- "Correction" is designed to correct the measurement results.
