In order to ensure maximum efficiency, it is recommended to hang the lamp at a height of 1.8-2 m, away from other light sources. Insects attracted by light rays of the corresponding wavelength die on the grid under voltage and fall into an inconspicuous collector at the bottom of the lamp. To clean the collector, it must be unscrewed and carefully pulled out. The grid is easy to clean with a brush. Before cleaning the grid or container for insects, unplug the lamp from the outlet. In order to ensure maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use bulbs specially designed for light insecticidal traps.
